Giveaway Rules For Entrants
*Entering Giveaways
~Please be sure to read who is eligible to enter. Most giveaways are open to the US, several are open to US & Canada, and occasionally I have giveaways that are open Worldwide.
~Check contest end date and time.
~Please follow the mandatory entry, which is usually asking you to visit the sponsors site and tell me something you like.
~Extra entries are not mandatory, but there if you would like to use them to better your chances. Extra entries are usually following social media links and other easy options.
~PLEASE be sure to leave me your email so I have a way of contacting you if you win. If I do not have your email, I do not have a way of contacting you and will have to pick another winner.
~Please be sure if you say you are a follower or subscriber you leave your email address or follower name so that I may verify your entry. I do check entries. If I am unable to verify an entry, a new winner will be chosen.
Choosing Winners
~I use Random.org to choose all winners
~Winners are emailed and I post winners on my site. Winners have 48 hours to reply to my winning notification. After 48 hours a new winner is chosen.
Prizes
~I am NOT responsible for prizes lost in mail transit or prizes not shipped by companies. I email the company the winner’s information and trust the items are shipped.
~Please allow up to 6 weeks to receive prizes. If at that time you have not received your prize, please contact me at cindi {at} yayablankets {dot} com and I will contact the company to check on the status.
Giveaway Policies for Businesses
~I will choose a winner for each contest via random.org, contact the winner, and then email you the winner’s information.
~I will not be responsible for shipping prizes to the winner/s.
~Giveaways last for 2-3 weeks unless there is a special request for a specific time frame given by company.
~Please let me know who can enter. Ex. US only, Continental US, US & Canada, or Worldwide.
~Please let me know if you have any additional requests or rules. For example if someone has won within the past 3 months they are ineligible OR no PO Box addressees, etc.
~Giveaways are a great way to receive added exposure and to increase social media. Mandatory entries for giveaways are usually to visit a company’s website and state their favorite item, sign up for newsletter, follow on twitter, or other easy entry that provides companies with exposure.
~I ask that prizes are shipped within a reasonable amount of time.
