This adorable film is about the young John Dolittle. He loves animals like his uncle.
The story begins with Doctor Dolittle learning to communicate with animals and goes to island (Dolittle Island) to learn the language of animals and teach animals to communicate with each other. After he feels confident in his teaching and the animals progress, he leaves. While he is gone one animal (Ramsey the Ram) begins to create chaos.
Doctor Dolittle’s nephew loves animals just as much as his uncle. He loves them so much, he studies his uncle’s diary as much as possible. He tries so hard to be just like his uncle. An opportunity arises to visit Dolittle Island when a Dolittle Island bird searches out help. Young Dolittle JUMPS at the chance to go to Dolittle Island and help the animals on the island save their island from Ramsey the Ram and his group of gorillas.
Working with his friends, Young Dolittle is able to help save the Island.
My thoughts: I think this is an adorable video with bright colors, great animation, loveable characters, great message about loving animals and working with friends to overcome the impossible.My kids and I love it and continue to watch it, especially when we are traveling.
