As we get closer to the holidays we start to think “What would be a great idea to get our kids this year”. I have to show you a fabulous product that would make a GREAT GIFT this holiday season.

My daughter’s (6yr) eye lit up with excitement from the second she laid eyes on the box. Thank goodness the box was easy to get into, because I felt pressured to be ready as she continued to remind me she couldn’t wait to try it.
I set up by rinsing off all the tools and Tasty Baker, then I plugged in the Tasty Baker, Alyssa put on her apron and got ready to cook.
The Tasty Baker comes with easy to mix recipes. We decided to first try making pancakes. I let my daughter use her own personal measuring cups, mixing utensils, and mixing bowl to get the batter all ready to cook. As soon as the Tasty Baker was heated and the mix was ready, Alyssa sprayed non stick spray on the heating plates and then used her black pouring tool to scoop pancake mix and help her pour mix into the fun shapes in the Tasty Baker. After pouring into the templates, she used her heat mit and closed the Tasty Baker. She grabbed her own personal timer and set it to 4 minutes. As soon as her timer went off she opened up the Tasty Baker and a HUGE beaming smile appeared as she used one of her cooking utensils to help pull the pancake shapes out and to the plate.
Alyssa had a BLAST. She loved that all the tools were her size and her own. She liked being able to REALLY cook things by herself (with me over seeing). Then it was so neat to see her wear her apron and go around to all our family members and serve them pancakes. I felt bad for her after we were all done with the mix, because she really wanted to continue baking, but we were out of mix and everyone was full. Needless to say, Alyssa is enjoying baking fun and delicious breakfast for her family on the weekends.
Clean up was easy, especially since the Tasty Baker comes with a brush to help clean those tight hard to clean areas.
Alyssa BEGGED me repeatedly to let her make everyone pancakes for lunch and dinner. I decided to ask her if she would like to make snacks for Caden’s preschool (I have to bring snack for the class once a month). She is so excited and can not wait. SO we are going to have to practice.
