Real California Milk is supporting California schools by launching the Real Seal Appeal program and awarding California schools with up to $2 million in cash, books and prizes.
California is the nation’s dairy state, it leads the U.S. in the production of total milk, butter, ice cream, yogurt and nonfat dry milk so when looking for the Real California Milk seal, you’re supporting both the 1620 California dairy families and California schools.
Families can participate by collecting Real California Milk seals from milk and dairy products and turning them in to their teachers. Each seal acts as a sweepstakes entry – the more seals collected and turned in, the more chances your child’s classroom (and school) has to win.
Milk and dairy products are an essential part of healthy eating, especially for children, which is why it is important to have a balanced diet complete with calcium-rich foods such as yogurt, milk and cheese.Families and teachers are encouraged to Collect, Enter and Win:
- Collect: Collect Real California Milk and cheese seals.
- Enter: Recieve free books or school supplies for your classroom. Plus, each seal counts as an entry in the REAL SEAL APPEAL SWEEPSTAKES.
- Win: Up to $2 MILLION in cash and other prizes will be awarded.
What would your school want to spend $20,000 on?
My daughter’s school would spend it on purchasing paper, copy machine supplies, and learning manipulatives and books. Ever since budget cuts, these are the areas of supplies that seems to be in the highest of demand and the most asked for. $20,000 could go a long way to help my daughter’s school or any school when it comes to purchasing supplies they need to enhance our children’s education.
