Got the TV!

I recently got direct tv at my house and I’m embarrassed to say I’ve become obsessed with that show “Tough Love” on VH1. It’s all about all these single women who are put in a house together and then this professional matchmaker man tries to tell them why they haven’t found a man yet. I don’t know if it’s the outright pure un-feminism of it or the fact that it’s just good entertainment but I can’t stop watching it! I love how the ladies are so naïve about everything (one argued that just because she worse fishnet stockings she shouldn’t be judged as a, well, you know…) and they’re just really, really bad at dealing with men. It’s amazing that they don’t see it but sure enough, you can really tell they’re learning each episode which is kind of neat and encouraging! I love reality television that has a heart and this show truly does want these women to find love. I think that’s why I watch, to see where they’ll all end up.
