BlogHer 2011~ My Top 10 Favorites

BlogHer11 was so much fun. Each day there seemed like there was a new item to try or experience at each booth. There were so many wonderful companies and booths. Here were my top 10 in no special order.

#1 King’s Hawaiian. Yummy!!! Totally surprised Stacie hadn’t heard of them before. We totally need to get King’s Hawaiian in Canada. These rolls tasted fabulous and so did the sliders they severed with them. I am a lifetime customer and plan on continuing. THANK YOU!!

#2 Hillshire Farm: The Strawberry turkey wraps you severed were DELICIOUS. I have been craving them ever since I tried them. I am going to pull up the recipe from your site and try to recreate. Stacie and I were totally fine with missing the BlogHer lunch and just camping out at the Hillshire Farm lunch bar.

#3 Michael Angelo’s: Talk about yummy Italian Food. WOW this is fabulous and so great to meet the creator/cook behind the scrumptious meals. Stacie and I had the chance to do a tour or Italy and it tasted great.

#4 RetailMeNot: Stacie and I walked up to this booth and I see a big wind machine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Of course I want to try it. Once they told me that one of my favorite go to coupon stores was giving me the chance to get in the tunnel and win an iPad2 OR CASH I ran in. WELL I didn’t win the iPad, BUT I did win $54 in CASH. WOOOO HOOO money for our pedicab ride later that night. THAT WAS FUN!!

#5 Skinny Cow: While Stacie and I waited to get our set of fake eye lashes, I tried the YUMMY Skinny Cow Ice Cream (only 120 calories or less). Talk about your two in one prizes. That was fun and yummy at the same time. I admit, Skinny Cow has Stacie and I really wanting to get fake eye lashes again. What a great idea and FUN booth.

#6 Dole: They had some of the most delicious fruit snack foods. All I could think of while trying is “I have got to buy these and keep them in stock at my house”. The best part was they gave me SEVERAL coupons to purchase more for free and coupons to save. As if that wasn’t great enough, they had a MASSIVE truck parked outside in the parking lot passing out free samples AND donating one fruit bowl to the local Food Bank through Feeding America for each person that came to try. I love companies that give back like this.

#7 Disney: There wasn’t really a booth at BlogHer11 for this, BUT Disney and Dream Works allowed some of us to see a screening of The Help. TRULY a wonderful experience.

#8 Mom Select: They didn’t have a booth inside BlogHer, BUT they did more than impress me with their fabulous Swag Suite. WOW WOW WOW. That was fun, impressive, organized, and awesome. THANK YOU.

#9 Chase Blueprint: THANK YOU FOR THE HAND MASSAGE!!! Wow that was so relaxing and needed. Great idea and they gave us a gift basket with hand massager and a chance to win $100.

#10 PlaySkool: What a fun booth they had set up. Stacie and I tried hard to get the fastest time making a Mr. Potato Head, but those ladies are fast. The booth was very inviting and we were able to take home some lovable Sesame Street Character and had the chance to take a picture with some.

Although there were SO MANY I loved, these were the few that I wanted to highlight. The one booth I am so sad I didn’t get to try was the Dr. Scholls custom orthotics. They had such a long line each time Stacie and I walked by. I think the BIGGEST hit next year would be a relax/recharge or other booth with a FOOT MASSAGER. The machines you put a quarter in would be good.

OMG our feet were killing us! Mine STILL hurt! But my ankles aren’t swollen anymore thankfully. We had so much fun and most of my faves were yours too. The only one you don’t have on your list is that delicious OIKOS yogurt. That stuff was sinful!

YUM!! You are right. The funny thing is I went to the store the other day and purchased so many of the items I tried at BlogHer. Great way to get people like me to be repeat customers. :)
