Disney’s Emmy Award Winning hit series “Phineas and Ferb,” TV’s #1 animated show among Tweens for the past three years, has announced the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie, “Phineas and Ferb:Across the 2nd Dimension,” where Phineas and Ferb go on their biggest journey into another dimension, set to debut Friday, August 5 (8:00pm ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Saturday August 13 (10:00 am, ET/PT) on Disney XD.
For those of you who are not familiar with the fun Phineas and Ferb Disney Channel special, it is an animated series where two step brothers conquer their daily boredom with fun and exciting adventures. Throughout their escapades, their lovable pet (unbeknownst to them all) leads a double life as a secret agent battling the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the world. All of this is going on, while their sister Candace makes it her life’s work to tattle on her brothers.
Disney Channel helped get my kids excited about the exciting NEW upcoming “Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension” debut by sending us a FUN and special package full of Phineas and Ferb.
The last time I saw my kids get this excited and grab things so fast, was at Christmas. My 14 year old yelled “I love Phineas and Ferb. The shirts, mouse pad, and water bottle are mine. Can I have the bad and paper pad too?”. Yaya and Caden fought over Perry the talking platypus doll and then BEGGED m
e to watch the movies. The funny things was how fast they found ouchies on themselves when they saw the Phineas and Ferb bandaids. What a fun and exciting package FULL of Phineas and Ferb. You better believe they were excited when I told them that a NEW Phineas and Ferb movie was coming next month.
My younger kids really enjoy watching Phineas and Ferb. Perry the Platypus is their favorite character. They also enjoy watching all the journeys Phineas, Ferb, and Perry experience AND think that the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz is funny. As soon as Phineas and Ferb is on, their eye are glued to the tv. It is fun to see my small kids get so excited about a cute show and to hear them laugh when they see a funny part.
