I usually don’t post things like this, but I had to share in case someone out there knows of anyone who could help this poor girl.
Katrina Howell, is one of my husbands patients, who is in her 30′s and was given a few more weeks to live unless she receives a lung transplant {2 donors, 1 lobe ea}. A typical person is born with 5 lobes. 2 on one side and 3 on the other.
Here is what her family said they are looking and praying for.
“Two lobes can save her life, said her sister, Tamara Pohlman-Chow. She said potential donors must be at least 5 feet, 9 inches tall, between ages 18 and 55, have type A or O blood, and be nonsmokers.”

I wish there was something I could do to help. I wanted to share, pray, and spread the word in hopes this sweet girl gets a second chance.
Thank you for reading. I appreciate it.

My prayers are with her and her family. My mom had a kidney transplant so I know how important transplant awareness is. Thank you for posting this.
Thank you so much. I pray for her and her family all the time. I hope your mom is doing great now. It is so wonderful she received such a special gift.
