We are living in a time where credit is extremely important. Whether we need a good credit score to purchase a home or car or whether we are need of a credit line for various reasons.
I found myself being overwhelmed with enticing credit card offers when I first entered college. Sign up for a credit card and receive all these free gifts, while starting your credit history (oh and no monthly fees). What they failed to mention is that although the free gifts would get old and go away, the debit would not and the high interest rates would increase the amount you owe. They also failed to state that if you are a full time college student making only the minimum payments, it might be impossible to pay off your credit cards in a timely less stressful manner. I found it VERY easy to reach the credit card limits, but hard to bring them back down at that time (so glad I learned that lesson early & got it out of the way).
Once I figured out dept optimization, I was able to take control of my credit and learned a valuable lesson. Which happened to be “your credit is important, don’t let credit card companies prey on or trick you into credit cards that you do not need especially when you don’t have the financial means to pay it off asap”. When optimizing your debit you are able to consolidate or find other great solutions, which can help lower interest rates, lower payments, and save your money & your credit.
For people who are looking to save money by consolidating debit, would enjoy information on how to borrow smarter, or for people who are looking for ways to stay on top of their finances so they can minimize payments there is Credit Sesame.
