My nephew (15yr) came to stay with us for summer vacation and brought his laptop computer. I noticed his frustration while trying to work on his computer. So I asked him what was wrong and he informed me that his computer was running really slow, not allowing him to access (work with) a drawing program that he was able to access previously, his slow computer was making his construction game slow and not fun to work with, and the overall performance was really slow.

Talk about perfect timing. As soon as he was telling me why his computer was frustrating him and why it was easier just to turn it off, I told him we should try the iolo System Mechanic and see if it could fix up his computer and all the issues he was experiencing.

Our System Mechanic Process/Experience:

  1. We simply installed the program on the computer (took a few seconds to get it going).
  2. Then we were given the option to do a simple computer scan that would check for quick fixes and would take up to 4 minutes to complete OR we could do a more thorough deep computer scan which would take up to 7 minutes.
  3. We chose the deep and thorough scan.
  4. After a few minutes we received a pop up stating there were 9 problems detected on the computer. There were problems that included 112,860 unaligned files, 6.72 GB System clutter, and 726 registry issues.  It gave us the option to repair the issues or we could first see what the computer problems were and why they were effecting the computer’s performance.
  5. We clicked repair all and optimize computer’s performance.
  6. This took a little bit of time to thoroughly complete (we just finished let it complete and kept checking on the progress due to our excitement to see the results) and then restarted the computer.

So the true test was signing back on to the computer and seeing how long it took to start, if we could access the drawing website program, how fast the internet connection would be, and if he was going to be able to work on his construction game/project. My nephew was shocked and so happy that his computer was working way better and that all his issues were no longer frustrating and keeping him from being creative. He begged me to write down the name of the program so that he could tell his mom and they get one for his home computer (it is working really bad too).

This was such a positive experience with a rewarding outcome.

This Father’s Day, give Dad the gift of a fast and optimized computer with System Mechanic.
