I was excited to try the OmniGlide Strengthening Exercise Discs. The thought of finding compact exercise equipment that is light weight, effective, and is portable sounded great to me. OmniGlide Discs are circular shape offering a grip handle to hold the discs as you preform various exercises. The smooth and slick bottom of the discs provide a slide when you add pressure and push/pull. OmniGlide comes with Basic exercises to work out and strengthen your core muscles and a folded blue foam mat for knees support.
I decided to read up on the exercise movements before attempting to preform each exercise. I was surprised to see how many muscles I was using to fulfill each exercise movement.
I like that with these exercise tools I am able to alter the motions and movements to my own personal ability. By changing the distance between my hands, the types of movements I make, the length of my movements, and changing my grip I am able to change the intensity of the workout and the types of muscles I am working out. It is simple, easy to use, easy to follow the directions, and great for storing (doesn’t take up too much space).
If there were one thing I would add/change to my set, I would add a soft grip cover to my handle, allowing me to comfortably complete even more exercises.
