The Night Night Book
by Marianne Richmond
Reading level: Baby-Preschool
Board book: 24 pages
My kids love to have stories read to them, especially right before they go to bed. There is just something tranquil and relaxing to them that they enjoy and get from reading a book right before going to bed.
The Night Night Book is great.
This adorable story is a great way to finish off a full day of playing (and messing up the house) and being a kid. It is a hard back book, which means at my house it will last longer and is one that my son can hold while I read without tearing the pages. I like how the illustrations are fun and colorful. They give kids a way to relate to illustration art work, which is very kid friendly.
It was written in an easy to follow, easy to read, and easy to understand manner that parents and kids can enjoy.
Each page offers a page full of things to talk about with kids. It was icing on the cake for us that each page also talked about things that my kids like to do each day.
Definitely a cute book that is great for reading to kids at night before bed. I also like how it is gender neutral and how both my 2 year old and 5 year old liked it.
I think it is a great book that I would definitely recommend to other moms who are looking for a cute story to read to their kids before bed time.
