Here is my Word Press Move Update
I am still currently in transition. Yikes.
I have never thought of my blog as big until I just realized what BIG BLOG means.
I have a blog with A LOT of posts and A LOT of comments. With that comes A LARGE BLOG to move.
SO what I am doing right now to help this move keep pushing forward??
I have deleted over 615 blog posts and 763 comments. You would think those big totals would help, but no.
I still need to downsize my 121,000 blog comments to help get my blog moved over.

The hard part is there is no easy way to do this. Because my comment number is so large, I can’t get to my REALLY old comments (from a year ago) easily and I can only delete 25 at a time.
Oh my. I wish there was an easy way. I think this is what I have to do to save the most comments and posts without losing it in transition.
MY ADVICE to you. If you are thinking about moving to WP and want to lose the LEAST amount of posts and comments as possible, MOVE BEFORE YOUR BLOG CONTENT AND COMMENTS GET TOO LARGE.
I have saved all my current giveaway comments on a worksheet and am keeping giveaways open for a while after my move.
I just feel really lucky to have Blogelina walking me through everything I need to do to help. She is wonderful.
Bare with me while my site in under construction.
HAPPY THURSDAY!!!

I just made the decision to move to WordPress and I'm glad I read your message. Thanks for the info.
I am with you in that boat. I've just decided to put my transfer on hold until after my blogging break this summer, then I won't have any open giveaways . Tanya can't get any comments past last March. Good luck.
I am bracing myself for losing comments. I tried to save all the ones I need for following back and for giveaways. Too bad moving to WP you lose comments. I wish it was a fast and easy process.
