My Favorite Coca-Cola Memories

It is no secret my favorite drink is Coke. I have so many memories over the years that involve Coke and how I got hooked.?When I think of my favorite Coke memories, I think back when I was a kid and my parents finally letting me have a glass of coke when we went out to dinner. This was the biggest treat, since they didn’t let us have soda, except on special occasions. My parents thought that it would make my siblings and I hyper. Then there was my bedroom. Oh my, I wish I had the pictures of my bedroom when I was younger. I will never forget my pink bedroom and  shelf stacked with coke cans. I am not sure why I did it, but I will never forget.?
Another favorite Coke memory was when I bought my first house when I was 24. The first thing I did was run to the store to stock my new fridge with COKE. The funny thing was I will never forget the feeling of “Oh my gosh I can have coke in my fridge at all times if I want, I wonder what my parents would think”. ?So my love of Coke just continued to grow.?Many people love having coffee to help them get their morning started. ?OH NO NOT ME! If you ask any one who knows me, they will tell you? I am hooked on the great taste of Coke ?(Vanilla and if Vanilla is not available, then regular).?Then started teaching. I came in every morning to work, just needing a pick me up to get going and there it was “a coke machine” where cokes were ONLY $.50. This is how I got hooked having a coke every morning. Each morning I would come to work with .50, grabbed my ice cold can of coke, and headed to my morning meeting or classroom. ?Sometimes I wonder if it is the thought that the coke is going to give me instant energy that keeps me having a coke each morning even though I am not currently teaching. Hmmm NAH! I just love the taste.
