Advertising is a great form of communicating or persuading a targeted audience to purchase or take some action upon products or services you offer. It usually includes the name of a product or service and how that product or service could benefit the consumer. Many companies like to use advertising items such as banners, logos, pens, business cards, etc. It is also a positive method of gaining more exposure and traffic. This may help others think of your company, products, or services when they are in need of something in your specialty.
Some items I have seen and think are great for advertising and make useful gifts include promotional mugs, GO Promos notepads, pens, coffee mugs, coffee travel cups, calendars, totes, and keychains. I think it is great to use products that are functional and can be used daily. This not only makes the product more effective, but helps you (by displaying & using your promotional item) and the person using your promotional/advertising item (they have tangible & functional item to use).
