The fun and easy way to decorate cupcakes.
Each year I have 5 birthdays I have to plan for in my family and each one I try to do something different and fun. I like to make cupcakes rather than cakes, because my kids love cupcakes and it is easier for me when my kids sneak frosting off the top, it is on their own cupcake and not the whole cake.
So far I have tried to make decorative cupcakes on my own and let’s just say they didn’t quite look like what I intended them to look like. I always end up resorting to store bought decorative cupcakes or plain cupcakes. This usually costs me more than I wanted to spend or if they are the plain cupcakes, takes away from me trying to do something different.

I was excited to try the Lil’ Burger decorative cupcake sleeves. Instructions were included on how to achieve the desired color of frosting, each pack came with 12 ready to use cupcake sleeves, and it was fun to do with my kids.
I simply baked my cupcakes, let them cool, mixed the frosting colors, then gently placed the Roundabout sleeve around the base of my cooked cupcakes. After placing a sleeve on each cupcake, I added frosting. To top these great cupcakes off, I used white sprinkles (I didn’t have sesame seeds).
They were absolutely adorable. I couldn’t wait to share with my friends how neat these cupcake sleeves are. I love the idea and am glad I was introduced to such a fun product.
