Journal Buddies books are designed to help strengthen self-esteem, build healthy relationships, and encourage creativity in girls and boys, ages 7 – 12.

One thing I wish I would have done more when I was younger and even still to this day, is kept a journal. I have always felt journals are such a great way to express your feelings, release the tension of a bad day, and it becomes your special friend that keeps all your secrets.

The thing that makes Journal Buddies different than other journals is it’s creative design invites it’s owner to express their feelings, strengthen their self-esteem, build relationships, enjoy activities with friends, and more.

The second I pulled my Journal Buddies out of the shipping envelope, I had both of my girls begging to have it. My thoughts were it must be the attractive/fun cover that made them both want it the instant they saw it (they both had no idea what it was or that it was coming). My oldest daughter decided she needed it more, so I gave it to her to try out and see what she thought.

Although it says ages 7-12, I think it is great for kids even older.

Hayli and I like how this isn’t a journal that has blank pages, but it is an engaging book that helps bring out the owner’s positive feelings and creative spark. There are ideas, examples, inspiring daily words, and great messages that really make this journal unique and fun. Kids are encouraged to find a buddy, list three qualities about them and then have their buddy do the same. There is a positive word of the day that helps kids get started as they write a journal entry with or without their buddy.

I really like what Journal Buddies does to encourage self-esteem, relationships, and positive feelings. Journal Buddies are offered in Boy and Girl versions. I think Journal Buddies are great and I wish I had one when I was younger. I was shy and had low self-esteem and would have really enjoyed having something so rewarding like this.
I definitely recommend Journal Buddies.
