Yaya’s favorite books and car games to play is I SPY. So when I saw that I Spy and Wii have teamed up to bring families these fun and exciting games, I just couldn’t help but want to try them.
I Spy: Spooky Mansion takes off of children’s favorite Scholastic book series, I SPY. I SPY is a visual scavenger hunt where children are in search for specific objects hidden among various eye stimulating scenery. Some may be very easy to spot, while other may be sneakily hidden in barely noticeable locations. In this I SPY Spooky Mansion Wii Game, players of all ages are lured into the I SPY Spooky Mansion by a creepy skeleton, where there are they will be trapped and have to search several rooms, solve many I SPY riddles, solve fun puzzles, search for objects, and play mini-games to successfully make it out of this spooky mansion.
I found this game to be more fun and visually exciting rather than spooky and scary. My 5 year old enjoyed trying to navigate through the mansion. It was easy enough for her to play, while there were some parts that I needed to help her with. There are verbal directions that allow her to understand what to do even without being able to read all the words. This is is a fun game that her and I can play together. The music is fun and fitting for the game, while the characters, colors, and objects are bright and engaging.
The Wii: I SPY Spooky Mansion retails for $29.99, can be played with up to 4 players, and can be purchased at places such as Amazon.
I think this is a fun game for the whole family and would make such a great gift this holiday season for kids who love I SPY and for those who just love fun games.

I SPY Universe for Nintendo DS
Here is another GREAT I SPY game rated E for everyone. I SPY Universe.
Take off on an exciting mission to help save the I SPY Universe. This is a fun game where the sun is fading and players have to help restore its bright shining light again.
You will need to fix the generator on board your ship to help re-power the sun. On your way, you will travel the depths of the universe along 12 planets, while solving I SPY riddles, puzzles, and timed games, while collecting 36 objects needed to help fix your generator. Riddles can be placed on the screen to read or have the riddle read aloud for easier concentration and for younger kids. Earn fuel for your space journey by playing several challenging puzzles.
This is a fun game that is easy to navigate, encourages critical thinking, and is a fun game for kids who love I SPY and who love a fun challenge. I SPY Universe is for Nintendo DS, which makes it a fun game for home or on the go. I like that my 5 year old can easily play and gets so excited to help complete such a fun mission. It is great that we have the option to have the instructions read to her, so I don’t always have to read and tell her what she needs to do next (but she tends to just know what to look for on her own). This is a great game, fun for the whole family (I like playing), and would make such a great gift for kids this holiday season.
