With Corel Paint It! users can take their favorite picture and then choose a painting style they would like to use to transform their picture. Choose from Oil Painting, Colored Pencil, Detailed Watercolor, Pastel, and more. Then you are given the chance to use tools to crop pictures, change colors, rotate images, add effects, and use a variety of paint brushes. Have fun using Airbrush, Pattern Pen, Dissolver Brush, Felt Pen, and Spray Paint brush to add different texture and effects. Decide that you changed you mind and want to start over, simply hit Restore button and your original picture is back.
Another feature that I really like, was that we could put it on my Mac or Hayli’s PC with Windows 7. It seems like all the unique and creative programs seem to be available for PC only. So I this was such a treat for me.
I also like how this is a program that allows people of all ages to be creative and learn about different types of painting styles. Corel Paint It! is a great idea to help you and your kids create special gifts for friends, family, and teachers. Have fun taking class pictures, pictures of friends, school pictures, and more into fun pieces of art. Frame it, email it, or print it and give it to someone special. My kids and I enjoyed this fun experience and think it is a great gift idea.
