Moon Dough is fabulous. Great fun for kids and definitely gets a big mommy approved from me.
What kid wouldn’t like the magic of a molding compound that doesn’t dry out?
My kiddos are not the best at putting the lids on clay and other fun materials. It gets expensive having to always replace products that dry out. It is also hard to get excited to purchase a product that leave behind a mess on their clothes or for me to pick up.
Thanks to Moon Dough, I don’t have to worry about that.
Moon Dough is a soft squishy, almost like you are squeezing freeze dried marshmallows. My kids and I enjoy the feel of squeezing it. It is light and fluffy, which makes it easiest to create objects easier. It is also hypo-allergenic and wheat free.
We had the chance to try the NEW Moon Dough Barnyard Play Set.
COMPLETELY fun and cute. Kids put Moon Dough in the top of the barn, pull the handle, and one of four different barn animals comes out of the front of the barn. There is a haystack on the right hand side of the barn that collects the excess Moon Dough, so you can stick it back in the slot to make another animal.
Kids can enjoy playing with their Moon Dough barn animals, and can make their own animals, barn enclosures, farmer, hay stack with mold, fence with mold, or whatever their little imagination wants to create. I really like how if my kids leave a cute little barn animal out to graze in the meadow (aka our playroom), I don’t have to worry about it drying out and my kids being sad they can’t play with it again. Moon Dough comes in eight fun colors including blue, green, white, orange, purple, red, pink, and yellow. Our kit came with yellow, blue, and white. It is designed for kids ages 2-4, but I think it should be 2-100, because I really like playing with it too.
This is such a fun set to play with. I do recommend putting the mat under the barnyard, which comes with the kit. It makes for an easier clean up. When my kids are done playing with the Moon Dough, or it is their bedtime, we put each color in a ziplock with the color name on the bag.
