Back to school gives my family less time in the mornings and full busy days. Going back to school doesn’t mean we have to stop making fun meals our kids will love with Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook, 50 Favorite Recipes to Make in a Slow Cooker by Phyllis Pellman Good. Phyllis Good is the author of the best selling Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbooks.
Fix-It and Forget-It Kid’s Cookbook offers easy kid friendly recipes that help encourage fun and engaging way to get kids involved in cooking. I like how this cookbook is geared toward kids and uses a slow cooker. There so much great information including using a slow
cooker, learning to measure, equipment list, and safety tips.
I am a picture person and LOVE the bright delicious pictures that each scrumptious recipe displays. Fix-It and Forget-It Kid’s Cookbook offers so many great recipes I have not previously tried. Each recipe provides a full page picture, serving size, prep time, cooking time, ingredients, equipment needed, and directions. I like how the pictures allow me to get a good idea what each meal looks like and gives me great ideas to use as side items.
What makes this Kid’s Cookbook so different? All 50 recipes use a slow cooker to help create each delicious meal.
For me SLOW COOKER= LESS TIME and LESS WORK. We have had a slow cooker for so long and haven’t used it. I was so excited to have my slow cooker help my family make great meals even with our hectic time schedule.
Enjoy meals like Sweet Bakes Oatmeal, Cheesy Egg and Broccoli Casserole (YUM), Peanut Butter Granola, Big Juicy Burgers, Fun Alphabet Soup, Easy taco Filling, Super Spaghetti Sauce, Carmel Apples on a Stick, Mac and Cheese, Pizza In a Bowl, and SOOOO many more. I can’t tell you which one is my favorite, because they are all so delicious.
I like how the  Fix-It and Forget-It Kids’ Cookbook, 50 Favorite Recipes to Make in a Slow Cooker is not just a Kid’s cookbook, but it gives families something fun to do together, teaches measurements, allows kids to help in the kitchen, provides fun cooking, and the best part it is fast and easy to do.
