One of the conversations that seems to come up the most is when hanging out with other parents is “What are your kids going to be for Halloween?”. Then there is the most common statement that proceeds the question, which is “Costumes are all so expensive at costumes stores and there isn’t a large variety to choose from”.
For me another big issue is having a teen daughter who likes to dress up for Halloween. With that comes the MANY costumes that we will not allow her to wear.
