It is back to school time and what better way to help your kids engage in fun academic learning than to experience Rock ’N Learn Phonics DVDs.

Alyssa is getting ready for kindergarten this year and it is hard for her to sit down and want to do bookwork with me.

We had the opportunity to watch and experience Rock ’N Learn’s Phonics Volume 1 and
Phonics Volume 2.
Rock ’N Learn Phonics Volume 1 provides children with skills that will help children read and learn to spell. It focuses on short vowels, consonants, blends & digraphs, word families, silent e, and read-along stories.
This engaging video offers a rhythmic beat, is easy to follow, uses new animation, offers a mouth to help children relate and try to pronounce specific sounds, it is interactive, it is inviting, and adds a fun twist on learning. It is 70 minutes long and available for $19.99
Alyssa instantly got off the couch and stood in front of the tv dancing and repeating everything that was said on the Phonics videos. It was fun and cute to see her tell her sister and brother the sounds she was pronouncing. She was also encouraging Caden and Hayli to join her in the fun video.
The Rock ’N Learn Phonics DVD Volume 2 teaches children long vowels, vowel combinations, syllable, ending sounds, silent consonants, and read along stories. Although this one was a big higher than Alyssa was ready to comprehend, it was so much fun and she loved it all the same. I think it is great for children to be exposed to phonics and reading at an early age. Alyssa was repeating every word and sound the characters said. She loves watching it and the best part is she is learning.
The Phonics Volume 2 DVD is 78 minutes long and can be purchased for $19.99
Overall we really enjoyed both Rock ’N Learn Phonics DVDs Volume 1 and Volume 2. I like how excited Alyssa gets to watch the video and that she is getting a great foundation to help her feel confident in kindergarten.
