Fit For Fall~The Bar Method Workout Review & Giveaway

You may have seen The Bar Method in People Magazine, the New York Times, Fit Magazine,  OR heard of Tori Spelling, Drew Barrymore, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus finding an amazing workout that works and keeps them looking amazing.
Let me introduce you to The Bar Method.
The Bar Method founder and creator Burr Leonard  created a full body workout program that uses different bar techniques she has taken from yoga, dance, interval training, physical therapy, Pilates, and more. It is a combination of these techniques, intensity of strength, short to high energy bursts, and targeting key areas that prove the Bar Method to be so effective.
The Bar Method: Accelerated Workout DVD is a 50-minute workout designed to help sculpt your body, strengthen your core, curve muscle,  and burn body fat with it’s high to low intensity workout program.
The Bar Method will help:
  • Firm, elongated muscles
  • Reduced body fat
  • High muscle definition in the chest, upper arms and upper legs
  • Improved posture: I have bad posture and look forward to the improvements.
  • Long, narrow thighs
  • A lifted seat and defined hamstrings
  • Strong, flat abdominals: This is a target area of mine. The Bar Method uses great moves to help tone your abs.
  • Increased stamina and energy
  • Extended youthfulness
Equipment Needed: A portable bar OR a sturdy chair. Two free weights that are 2 to 4 pounds each (weights are optional). I happen to have weights, which I used.

I really enjoyed how unique, exciting, fun, different, and graceful The Bar Method Workout is. Although it is called the Bar Method, you don’t have to have a workout bar in your home. You can use a sturdy chair to give you the support needed for great exercises. I enjoy the type of workout I receive and how I am working all my target are such as my arms, legs, and abs.
I like how The Bar Method is effective and is not a high impact workout. Burr provides easy instructions, doable exercises, takes a different & effective approach to working out, and I like how I am not only working to improve my body shape but posture as well(mine needs a lot of work).

The Bar Method offers two programs. One is Change Your Body an the other is Accelerated (like the one I tried). Both videos can be purchased at http://www.barmethod.com/ for $20.00 or purchase both for $30.00.

Visit The Bar Method for more information, to see where the closes location to you is where studio classes are offered, and to see great samples of this amazing workout.
