Fit For Fall~Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food & Cookbook Review & Giveaway

Dr. Laura grew up making healthy cookie recipes with her mom. Each Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food product is based on tasting great and also being guilt free.
Dr. Laura found herself loving “Junk Food”, like several college students growing up.
Dr. Laura grew up in a nutritionally conscientious home, has traveled around the world,  tried a variety of diets,  and tasted interesting flavors while abroad. Dr. Laura also saw people suffer illnesses that could have been prevented with better nutrition. It was this combination of growing up, traveling, being exposed to food illness, that helped Dr. Laura began creating wholesome recipes that tasted delicious and used whole grains and whole sweeteners.
WOW!
Who knew that there could really be such a thing as wholesome cookies. My confession is that after trying one, it is hard to not eat the entire container. I had the chance to try
  • 1 tub Oatmeal Chocolate Chip
  • 1 tub Anna Banana Split
  • 1 tub Oatmeal Raisin
  • 1 tub X-Treme Fudge
  • 1 tub Mint Double Fudge
  • 1 tub Lemon-Vanilla
  • 1 tub Cole’s Cashew Chocolate Chip
  • 1 tub Better Brownie
Each tub comes with about 15 cookies and are available for only $5.99. They taste so sweet and delicious, that they actually remind me of cookie dough. I thought I couldn’t just keep this amazing discovery to myself. I decided to share with my family my delicious wholesome cookies.
The consensus was “How are these cookies so good and healthy?” Everyone loved Dr. Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food.  If I could only pick 3 favorites I would choose Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, Anna Banana Spilt, and Lemon-Vanilla. Each of my family members have different tastes and each of them grabbed a different tub as their favorite. Needless to say 8 tubs of Laura’s Wholesome Junk Food didn’t last long at all.
Another great thing about these amazing cookies is if you want to savor and cherish your tub of cookies longer than I did, you can extend the longevity of freshness by placing them in the freezer or fridge.

Dr. Laura didn’t just create yummy healthy treat for us to enjoy, but she also shared her savory wholesome recipes in her cookbook, The Wholesome Junk Food Cookbook.
The Wholesome Junk Food Cookbook offers more than 100 GREAT Healthy Recipes for everyday snacking. Dr. Laura helps you make delicious snacks from scratch. Some of my favorite recipes so far include Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Granola Bars, Very Berry Trail Mix, Cinnamon Buns, Apple Pie, Vanilla Ice Cream, and English Muffin Pizzas. I can’t wait to try more of Dr. Laura’s amazing recipes. The thing I like about this recipe book is it not only provides fun and unique recipes I haven’t tried before, but it also makes each recipe easy to follow. There is a brief introduction, list of ingredients, how many serving, and the details cooking instructions. I would recommend this cookbook to my family and friends. I really like how Dr. Laura makes sweet foods I crave, with healthier ingredients. Locking in the sweetness and cutting out bad.
