One of my little adorable nephews was turning one. So what better way to celebrate, than to use my Cupcake Corer and Decorating Set. I love that this is such a fun and unique decorating set to use with my kids.
The Cupcake Corer is light weight and easy to use. I like that it isn’t sharp and that Alyssa (my 5 yr) is able to do it by herself. Simply place in the center of the cupcake and gently twist. Press the release top and you have a great little pocket to add a desirable treat.
After using the Cupcake Corer and figuring out what you would like to add to the center of your cupcakes, take your flower tip frosting applicator and be creative. It is fun that there is no right or wrong way to do it. We made a few designs using the flower tip. We also decided to use the flower tip to apply frosting and then we used our Flexible Offset Spatula to spread the frosting around the top of a few cupcakes. To top it all off we switched tips and used our round tip to make a finer line and then to write Happy Birthday.
Definitely a fun way to get kids involved, talk about measurements, explain cooking, and to let kids bring out their artistic creativity.
