Back To School~Shred Sled SHOX Scooter Review

I was looking forward to Alyssa starting school and hopefully walking her to school or home. Since I have a single stroller, Alyssa would have to walk beside me. We all know that after a long day of kindergarten that isn’t going to be the happiest option for my little princess. 

I was so excited to be introduced SHOX Scooters from Shred Sled. 

Alyssa has always wanted a scooter like her big sister. Now she has one, 

only this one is much better than any regular scooter.

Shred Sled is a company specializing in extreme sports products for kids.  Their newest product, the Shox Scooter,  is the first-ever active shock absorber scooter that allows riders to perform higher, faster, more awesome tricks!

The Shox Scooter is made of 40% steel, 50% aluminum, and 10% other. It is 14 in. wide by 28.875 in. long by 34.875 in. high. and it weighs 7.05 lbs. The Shox Scooter is recommended

for ages: 5 and older.

Alyssa immediately jumped on it and started riding it around. 

I like that the handles are adjustable, allowing for us to make the handles at the perfect height for Alyssa. This is great so my other kids and their friends can play on it as well and they are able to adjust it to fit their height.  The Shox Scooter provides a comfortable shock absorber standing pad that allows Alyssa to comfortably ride without hurting her feet while she rides, especially when she rides it for long periods of time.

 

My favorite thing about the Shox Scooter, is that I can conveniently fold it and place it in my stroller. A flip of a lever by the front base and wheel, gives the Shox Scooter a quick collapsed position. This gives me the luxury of walking to pick Alyssa up from school. I just place the Shox Scooter and Alyssa’s helmet in the back of my stroller, walk to school, open the Shox Scooter up when we reach the school, and now Alyssa has something to ride home from school while I walk with Caden. Alyssa just loves riding her Shox Scooter. The wheels provide a smooth gliding ride. Hayli has been asking us for one too. She likes that the Shox Scooter has the comfortable shock absorber which hers doesn’t.  The shock absorber allows kids to jump off of curbs or do other fun tricks, while reducing the impact.

Shox Scooters are a great fun way for kids to ride to school. They cost less than most bikes, are easy to maneuver, comfortable, collapse for easy school storage, keep kids moving, and are safe when used properly.

We had such a great experience with our Shox Scooter. I think we are going to have to get one for Hayli for Christmas so my girls don’t have to argue over whose turn it is to ride.
