What is your name? Denise Alberino
What is the name of your blog and why did you choose your name? Digital Creationz by Denise. I named the blog my business name, Originally however it was only meant to blog about my digital scrapbooking pages that I created for a Designer that designs digital scrapbooking kits. Well within the past year it has had a face lift and I use my blog to post my graphic design work and also review my clients.
How long have you been blogging? About 4 years
Tell me about your blog. My blog is basically a place where I post all my designs. I also review my experience with the client. This is great advertising for the client as it is another outlet for people to find them especially if they don’t have website. I have had people emailing me looking for certain companies listed on my site. My blog is a great online portfolio. It would be so awesome if I had the time to keep up with it all the time, so when I update it, I update it. On my blog is also links for fellow MomPackers as well as links to clients websites. I also added, but haven’t completed sites that I like to visit. So to sum it up my blog is a little reviewing, a little advertising and alot of showing off of what I do.
What do you like the best about blogging? I love the fact that if someone is doing a search for a specific company that I have on my blog, my blog will come up in the search engine. This is great advertising for me. I also love that when I do a bad review for non payment of a product, the client eventually finds out about the review and wants it removed. It takes a while but I eventually get paid for my work LOL.
Do you have children? If so how many? I do have children. 2 - Gabriella just turned 6 and Gionna 3 1/2 who just turned 25!!!
What type of products do you like to review? I don’t review products however I am setting my blog up for the possibility of doing product reviews. At the moment I review my clients and my experience with them through the design journey. Right now my hits counter is not working properly but as I get more people hitting my blog I will add that as well. I am thinking I will be doing that around Christmas time or in 2011 sometime.
If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go? Thats easy Italy. My husband and I are both descendants of Italy. Our families are from the same parts Sicily and Palermo. I just did a report for him on a couple of spas in Italy and now I am sure that I have to go and visit before I die.
What else would you like people to know about you or your blog? If anyone finds me through my blog and would like design work done, I would be glad to give them our discounted pricing if they tell me they found us through your blog.
