Changing Your Blogspot to a .com Domain

Where it says custom domain. Type in your desired URL and see if it is available.
If it available, then select it and pay $10 for your new domain. This is a yearly fee. So you wont have to pay it again until next year. You do have to use a credit card and are not given a Paypal option. It is through Google Check out and is a secure check out.

THEN you are set. You have your new URL immediately. Go back into the publishing page and make sure you click on the transfer tab. This is to make sure when people visit your blgospot page it automatically transfers to your .com (this may take a few days to be effective).
It will take up to 3 days to have everything transfer. Meaning you will have 2 URLs. Your blogspot (this will not show some of your comments right away and your GFC won’t be on this page). Then you will have your .com page. This is where you will see your GFC.

For the first 2 days I didn’t have a trash can to delete comments and on my blogspot URL it didn’t show my GFC. It has been 3 days and everything is going just like it was before.
If you type in my blogspot URL it transfers automatically to Littleyayas.com.

Let me know if you have any questions. :)
